Hazelight Studios, the creators of the 2021 Game of the Year It Takes Two, teased a new game in the works to be published by Electronic Arts.

Studio head Josef Fares first teased the new IP, giving nebulous information about the title of the game (which, according to Fares, has two words, 12 letters, the first of which is S and the last of which is N) but no information about what kind of game it would be.

The official Twitter account for Hazelight Studios added the detail of the publisher, as well as what could be cryptic hints about the game spread across Post-It notes.

One of the sticky notes implies that the new game will be a co-op experience, something that comes as no surprise to those familiar with Hazelight’s catalog. The co-op clue appears as a part of a “cooler” acrostic, though fans have yet to come to a consensus as to the word’s meaning in relation to the game.

This announcement comes on the heels of the studio celebrating selling 20 million copies of It Takes Two, their story-driven couch co-op game.
