The preorders for the 30th anniversary PlayStation 5 pro were up for fewer than 30 minutes in Europe before the $999 bundle was completely sold out.
Retailing for about 43% more money than the standard PlayStation 5 Pro, the special edition console went up for pre-order at on Thursday, with thousands queued in the PlayStation Direct waiting room. The console was limited to 12,500 units, making it instantly one of the rarest console variations in existence.
Other items, such as the 30th Anniversary Dualsense and PlayStation Portal are still available for pre-order. The 30th anniversary PlayStation 5 Slim, for the moment, is also still available.
The North American version of the console goes live for pre-order at 10:00 am Thursday. That version of the console is also expected to sell out within the first few minutes of availability.
