Sony announced that console version of the upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 5 for one year.

It is the latest in a string of major game releases with timed PlayStation 5 exclusivity such as Black Myth: Wukong and Final Fantasy XVI Rebirth. The game will be available on other platforms on Oct 8 of next year.
Alongside the announcement, Sony made some lofty promises for the upcoming game, including no loading screens and 4k resolution. The game updates the visuals and mechanics of the original 2001 game, which was exclusive to the PlayStation 2.
Sony released an “immersion trailer” showcasing the various PlayStation 5 exclusive features for the game, including a DualSense lightbar that changes color depending on your health and haptic triggers that engage with gunfire.
The game is also releasing on the PC on the same day as the console version.
