CD Projekt Red’s Chief Financial Officer announced Wednesday that The Witcher 4 is entering production, and the studio has begun planning a new Cyberpunk game.
In the company’s Q1 Earnings video, Piotr Nielubowicz informed fans that the studio’s veteran developers were engaging in the planning phase for Cyberpunk 2, currently codenamed Orion.
“A group of CD Projekt Red veterans, now assisted by freshly hired talented developers, is laying the groundwork for another Cyberpunk game,” Nielubowicz said.
Nielubowicz said the studio’s Polaris team has made “substantial progress” on the preproduction phase of The Witcher 4, although he said the game is not yet in full production.
The two minute long video went on to discuss CD Projekt Red’s financials, which according to Nielubowicz included a revenue of 425 million Polish złoty, or nearly $110 million.
